Laura's second (and final book) of poetry was entitled "The Weight of a Soul" and was published in 2007, only a few months after she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.  The Weight of a Soul contains (43) of her original poems from her first book and (34) new poems.

Efforts are currently underway to re-publish this book through Amazon with an estimated release date of Summer of 2025.
